Helm Property Group’s mission is to acquire, develop, and manage high-quality commercial and industrial real estate assets utilizing best-in-class management to identify, build, and maintain strong relationships to benefit all stakeholders while protecting and growing its holdings for future generations.

The foundational principles of Helm’s owners have guided the oversight and management of assets throughout their years of experience.  Those principles include evaluating its contractual relationships as partnerships with a focus on fairness and equitable solutions while maintaining an opportunistic mindset and remaining disciplined in their approach.

Sustaining a disciplined approach extends to Helm’s acquisition criteria where it seeks to acquire a variety of asset-types including small or medium sized ($3 million to $50 million) properties with single or multi-tenanted retail, multifamily, or industrial throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Florida that provide opportunities to add value or develop assets to a stabilized form.

Kenneth A. Cohen serves as the managing principal of Helm’s investment portfolio.  Ken graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a BS and an MBA and previously specialized in in investment sales, tenant representation, and asset management.

Louis B. Rappaport

Principal

Louis B. Rappaport is actively involved in the selection, acquisition, and development of Helm Property Group’s portfolio.  Louis graduated from Washington College with a BA and holds an MA from Temple University.  Louis has been acquiring and developing commercial real estate for more than forty years, maintaining a debt to equity ratio of less than 50% enabling Helm to react quickly and decisively when opportunities arise.

Ross A. Cohen

Ross A. Cohen serves as the day-to-day overseer of Helm’s portfolio of assets including property and asset management, leasing, construction oversight, and investor relations.  Ross graduated from Ithaca College with a BS.
